Spencer Museum

The Spencer Historical Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Spencer Museum.

Meetings include society business, an overview of current history-based events in and around Spencer, two Oklahoma trivia questions, a presentation covering an aspect of Oklahoma history, and a pot luck dinner featuring a variety of homemade goodness.

We also hold community events such as the annual Plant and Bake Sale the last weekend in April and an annual Ice Cream Social the last weekend in August. January meetings include a Memorial Service for members that passed the previous year. November brings a Veteran’s Day salute with our high school ROTC and our December meeting includes the popular “The Wright Family Christmas” present swap.
