True Vine Church / Spencer Chamber "Little Free Library" Dedication

On July 8th, representatives from True Vine Church, the Spencer Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Spencer met to dedicate a Little Free Library box at the entrance to The Reserve at Spencer Apartments on NE 36th Street.

Little Free Library book-sharing boxes are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.  The contents are freely accessible to all and are designed to remove barriers to book access. The initiative in Spencer began with the Spencer Chamber of Commerce. The True Vine Men's Ministry built, installed and stocked the box.

Noted attendees included True Vine Church Pastor Rev. C.J. Lubin and Deacon Cory Golson, Spencer Chamber President Brenda Mendoza and Secretary Cindy Van Kley, Spencer City Manager Shamia Jackson and City Clerk Cecilia Taft, and Spencer Council Members Renita Fair and Jim Scanlan.
