“ICE STORM DEBRIS REMOVAL”

The City of Spencer was notified this week that County Commissioner, Carrie Blumert, District #1, has authorized Mr. Brian Jasper, Oklahoma County D#1 Superintendent, to assist small communities in OKC D#1  for the purpose of “Ice Storm Debris Removal!”

Oklahoma County District #1 will notify the City of Spencer regarding mobilization date of the debris removal for the City of Spencer.  Therefore, residents will be required to move all remaining debris to the city right-of-way by no later than Friday, January 15th, 2021 and pickup will begin upon official notification from Oklahoma County.

However, all household trash and furniture “MUST” be removed from the “Ice Storm Debris” presently located on the City of Spencer’s right-of-way and limbs must be no longer than twelve foot (12’) in length.  Household trash and furniture “WILL NOT” be picked up by Oklahoma County field crews.  Keep all debris clear of public utilities, mailboxes, gas risers, phone pedestals and etc…THANK YOU!
